It’s summer time now, but it is also time to start the ads sales for the fall shows. The Crystal City Competition is September 23rd and Bandtoberfest is October 21st.
The Band Boosters sponsors the fall shows and there are typically 8-12 regional and local bands that participate in these shows. During the shows, we also sell programs to the visitors. Those programs contain ads that local businesses have purchase from students to support the band program.
Previous years, we assign each student 2-3 businesses to approach to sell ads. However, this year the only pre-assigned businesses are those that sold ads for the 2016 fall shows. The remaining ads are available to any student that wishes to sell the ads. This fundraiser is voluntary.
If you would like to sell ads to businesses for this fundraiser this year, please review the list of available ads on Charms under the 2017 Ad Sales folder or on the bands website under the Home Show Ad Info link. Then send me an email (Bandtoberfest@gmail.com) requesting those businesses be assigned to you and I will verify no one else has requested those businesses.
